Lots of good stuff here. How do you think it sounds compared to DSD?
Am interested, but if the actual DSD master becomes available I'd prefer that.

That sight is a goldmine of hi-rez titles.  At around $36 per album, it's not cheap.  But  it's less expensive than the $60 SHM-SACDs they sourced the files from.  Since I now have a DSD DAC, I would also prefer to purchase DSD masters if/when they become available.

They are going to open a US site but haven't yet. Google translator did well enough for me.

Anyone have experience with SACD/DSD files like this converted to 24/192? How do they sound? Worth a download?

I have bought about 8 titles, two of which are dsd files. It is near impossible to buy from outside Japan. I admit I find the dsd less convincing that 24/192 files so far, but my sample is 2. There are some Venus jazz 24/96 titles that are just as booming loud and compressed as Venus CD's, so that is a waste. The Cream - Wheels Of Fire is really superb, and I find that the Caravan - Grey & Pink at 24/192 I prefer considerably to the Steven Wilson remix at 24.44. Of particular interest to some may be the LSO Live and Mariinsky label material in DSD files, but for those able to rip SACD's, they may be redundant. I have some 24/192 LSO stuff, and the one title I bought in DSD I found in many ways I preferred the 24/192 as the DSD I found to be too laid back and less involving as a result.

I had to go through a Japanese contact. No way I know to do it otherwise.
