Hello AC,
I'm interested in trying a diy cable using {KISS} simple solid core silver wire. I have connectors and really just need the bulk wire. Looking for a single length of 6 to 8 lineal feet of wire.
Attributes I am interested in include;
*Solid conductors (not litz or stranded)
*No sheathing or dielectric preferred, if available. Teflon/FEP or cotton could work possibly.
*Extra soft annealed.
*3 nines or better.
*24 gauge to 26 gauge.
Anything along the lines of Mundorf, NeoTech, VH Audio, Duelund, Cardas, Tempo etc. is ideal
I'm just checking to see if anyone has any left over from a similar DIY project or internal re-wiring projects, or similar before I go buy new retail.
Also - I could be interested in a 10 ga to 12 ga range solid core silver wires to try out for speaker cables as well. For speaker cables, I need enough for a stereo pair/set for 2.5 meters or 8 feet long.
Thanks
Kenreau
