This is the original acrylic body that was our Product of the Year in 2009 as well as Tone and a couple of others. It has about 250 hours on it and has been in my closet for 3 years. The Ebony body now sells for $2,800 and doesn't sound "better'; different, but not "better". It's actually a great bargain at that price - still.
I'll sell this one for $1,499. I couldn't find any others for sale anywhere. I suppose there's a reason for that. Time to let someone else enjoy it.
