How Long Does it Take?

I had to send my SP2 in for service, still under warranty. The plan: ship it to Byston by air, which was a Tuesday morning. Should have arrived at Byston the next day, Wednesday. Two days to test and fix and back on airplane Friday night, which I would receive by courier Monday. That was like two weeks ago, I want my baby back! :bawl:

So now I'm wondering what's Bryston's  procedure is when servicing units. Does it sit on a shelf for a few days or does it sit on a bench for a few days being tested? Does it get shipped out by same courier used to deliver, and same freight that it was shipped by, in my case air freight.

Hope it doesn't come by FedEx Ground. :|

If it was sent to Vermont first, it must then be sent to Canada to be repaired.  I sent in an SP twice, and it was almost three weeks each time.

The reason I don't like FedEx ground is that they have no pick up depot in our city. The last time I was not at home to receive shipment, it sat on their truck all weekend in the cold weather. I finally got my parcel on Monday after I stormed into their location demanding it before they sent it back.

I noticed today a new FedEx pick up depot is going to open right across the street from FedEx ground. Signs went up today, I drive by there everyday, but it's still not open. So hopefully this will solve the pick up problem, if you can't be home to sign for shipment. :smoke:
