I've been thinking about possibly (?) buying a demo or pre-owned deHavilland UltraVerve 3 preamplifier. I'd prefer the model that comes with a remote, but it's not a must. I'm not sure if this pre will be a good match to the rest of my system, but buying a demo or used unit at the right price would give me a chance to audition it and (hopefully) not take a $$$ hit on a re-sale if it doesn't work out.
