Buscemi can juggle! Brilliant!
... I have a feeling we are just getting to the powerband of this season, and it will not disappoint.

Just in case someone doesn't know Nucky Thompson is based on real life Nucky Johnson
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enoch_L._Johnson
I like this quote " He freely gave to those in need, and was widely beloved by local citizens, among whom his benevolence and generosity were legendary. Johnson once explained that "when I lived well, everybody lived well"."

After a slow slow-ish start, BE is finishing the season strong! The last few episodes have really pumped up the volume, and tonights' finale should be a killa!
Homeland has been consistently excellent, one of, if not the best drama on television today.
Dexter feels like a show that's seen better days.
Although I'll always have love in my heart for Treme, this season was a dissapointment.
The show that consistently surprises and entertains is American Horror Story! Just when I think the show is veering into a 'campy' zone, along comes Jessica Lange with a sure-to-win-an-emmy (again!) performance. Great stuff!!
For some reason (perhaps a promo) I'm getting the Starz channel so I decided to chk out the 1st episode of 'Boss' on demand. Whoa!! Very good work by all involved, especially Kelsey Grammar. I have to believe the ONLY reason this show's been cancelled is the network it was on, nobody saw it!! My guess is that it'll eventually wind up on Netflix to even greater acclaim (I'm pretty sure Grammar one an Emmy for 'Boss').

Good closer. They will be able to start fresh from here now - no real cliffhanger.

I wondered where Richard was. Then all of a sudden, hello! Now, where is Nelson and what do the writers have in store for us with him? What a trip that actor is playing NY crimeboss Joe Messiari or how ever you spell that.

BE's finale tied up all the loose ends in almost too neat a bow but was still satisfying. Yeah, Richard really rocked. Moreso when you realize that he wasn't privy to Nucky's deal to get Masseria's men out of the house, he went there with intent to rescue the boy regardless of who was there! The biggest development of the season was made crystal clear at the ending fadeout; Nucky's no longer pretending to be a pillar of society, he's a 100% Mob Boss. I've been a 'fan' of the history of organized crime my whole life. If you know anything about the history of Luciano, Lansky, Masseria, Maranzano, Capone, Moran, & Rothstein you know that upcoming seasons are going to prove VERY interesting!;)

This is going to go down as one of my all time favorite series. I hope we have a lot to look forward to. I keep renewing HBO
just
for this show alone.
