mpad auto refresh
« on: 16 Dec 2012, 11:21 pm »
Hi guys...I think I just posted my question in the wrong place ....sorry
I'm having a problem with auto refresh cache on mpad. When I download a few new cds to my hardrive it seems to take several listening sessions or days before they show up on my ipad. Auto refresh is turned on. Is there a still a way to manually refresh ?
thanks
Robin

Hi Robin

Are you using UPDATE on the Brystons Settings page after you add material? Click Settings on this page and you will see UPDATE.

Hi James...I'm using the man cave option....not connected to the internet.
Do I need to disconnect my Bdp player and connect to the internet to do an update
Is there another way to access the bryston setting page? Sorry for sounding a little confused but it used to work just fine
thanks

Just type the IP address shown on the display of your BDP into your safari or chrome browser and the settings page comes up. Password and user is bryston - case sensitive.

I think the problem you are having is to do with a bug in MPod, I get it sometimes, add a new album and update but it does not show up in album or artist view, if you browse though, it is there, you need to force an MPod update and then it is visible properly....

There is a new version of MPod released today, so I will give that a go

Cheers
