Importance of reliability, warranty and customer service

I have spent many, many years in this hobby and continue to play with various components in a never ending quest for improvements, yet I cannot recall ever experiencing so many serious failures and functionality problems with various components as in the last year. I do not know if it is the sign of things to come or just a streak of bad luck. It was a failure after a failure that led me to realize one fact, all the Bryston components I had or still have were the standouts, without any serious operational issues. On those rare occasions when I needed some minor work to be done it was dealt with by Bryston very professionally and extremely fast.
While the Bryston’s sonic signature (or the lack of) can be argued as it is often a question of preference, I cannot think of more reliable, better built components backed up with first class customer service far above the rest.

  All I can say is that my 4Bst, BP25 and now the BCD1 have never let me down in anyway. I play them daily and the amps are now 12 years old.... If anything they sound better than ever.  Bravo to Bryston all around. :bowdown: :rock:
