FS: First Generation Intel Mac Mini

It is time for me to move on from my Intel Mac Mini. And yet I am happy that I can provide an ACer with a great chance to get into computer audio. OS is 10.5.8. 1.66 GHz, Intel Core Duo. Has worked great as a music server. I ran it headlessly with Fidelia using screen sharing from my laptop.

On the downside: 1) Cosmetically the metal is scuffed up on one side of the machine. 2) It will need more RAM to upgrade to newer operating systems than 10.5.8 (currently has 512 MB). 3)  There is an occasional hiccup on startup, where the computer stalls on a gray screen with the Apple logo. A restart usually fixes the hangup, and it is always fixed by loading to the system install DVD and from there choosing to start up from the computer's hard drive. Spoke with a repairman today and will do a fresh system install to try to fix the problem. But want to give full disclosure here.

On the upside, you can have a Mac Mini (for audio or any other use) for $250 + shipping.

I am also selling the Tranquility DAC I used with this Mac. Buy both for $700.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
