It is hard to express my feelings and experiences from this years' show.
First: To me RMAF is always about the people. I love you guys. I finally got to put faces with monikers, voices and emails for so many people. Half of the profit of my job is the relationships and and friends that I have from it. Don't get me wrong - the money is essential, but life is a lot more than just $$$ and the acquisition thereof. Thank you to all of you that took the time to come and give our room a listen.
We had a tremendous group in our room and we all worked hard to get THE sound. It finally got there on Sunday when we (thank you, Rich

) got the DAC filter setting right. I can honestly say that the room was magical on that Sunday. Audio is about communication. The music HAS to draw one in and whisper in your ear: listen to me. We got there and it was good.
Triode Wire - what a great addition to the mix. Pete is not only a fine, sincere and generally fun Dude, but has products that were a huge part of the system synergy that we had
GR Research - Danny is not only one of my best friends (and Brother) but has topped himself in the design of the Super Seven for Serenity Acoustics. The speaker is simply amazing in the ability to put the music into the room in an unconstrained manner. No coloration - just the goods, thank you.
Dodd Audio - Gary's battery powered Preamp and 30W Monoblocks were stunners! Warm, yet detailed and had that "listen to me" quality that I talked about earlier. As always they were/are beautiful.
dB Audio Labs - Eric's 32bit/192kHz DAC sounded wonderful (in a wonderment sort of way). Punch (balls, boys), clarity, detail and zero digititus. All it did was take them ones and zeroes and turn them into music and then gently, very softly get out of the way. This is also on 12VDC, folks.
RMAF is what all audio shows should be about. Thanks to everyone for making mine great.
