One speaker has some damage to the finish, on the right side near the back. I tried to show it in a detail shot. Jim has offered to refinish the speakers to original cosmetic condition. I'm asking $5,000, which includes shipping to Jim's shop and the repair. Jim would ship the speakers directly to the buyer at the buyer's expense. The speakers will be a year old next month. I owned HT-2 TLs prior to these. Fine as the 2s are, my experience is that the 3s are effortlessly more powerful without giving up any of the resolution and finesse of the 2s. I also think the three-way design frees up the midrange in some music. The bass is astounding.
The damage chipped the paint but did not gouge the underlying cabinet. Jim says they will look like new. They will ship in original packaging.
