For myself, I have moved various Pangea powercords all around my stuff.
I CAN say the Pangea AC14 is no longer in use in my system. I sold them all for $25 each.
I still like the Pangea AC9 for several placements.
And the Pangea AS14SE for several others.
And the AC9SE for a few places.

I have my 4 meter Pangea AC9SE on my Furman REF20i powerconditioner. if I only had one, this is THE place to put it. Though on a PS Audio P600 the Pangea AC9SE sucked.  For the PS Audio I kept it on the three meter Pangea AC9

Second good place for a Pangea AC9SE is the amplifier. also great.
AC9SE was no good on any digital stuff. Although the AC14SE is fine on all my digital stuff. (The AC9SE seems to be 'too much' for the digital gear which is all on the PS Audio P600 and THAT may be a reason for my problem using the AC9SE on digital stuff which is only a conjecture.

I am on/off again for a third AC9SE on my VAC standard. Which  also did not do as well on a AC14SE. (edgy)
The VAC Standard is happy with an AC9.

So all in all I found I had to actually plaace the cord on the item to find out if it was better worse. or just different with either AC9 AC14SE or AC9SE.
I have tried each one on every bit of stuff I own with an IEC connection for power.
And it is a crapshoot as to which one will sound best. No' rule' matters except trying it and does it please better,  or not.

The one which is a hard to decide for me, was the VAC Standard tube preamp as buffer. Using the Pangea AC9SE gave greater clarity, better bass, it also was a bit more edgy on the top octaves. Where the VAC with the AC9 gives a less clear, but warm bell like top end. piano just is liquid.
I chose the AC9 and the bell like liquidity over clarity and a little harsher top end. It was a close call though. I had to think about which was more enjoyable over the long haul.

So to answer is the AC14SE better than the AC9? For many sources yes. For a few, no
The AC14SE is 'clearer' more bright a little than an AC9. It all depends on the item. The AC9 has more bottom end.. a broader brush kind of.
