Hello,
I just scored some inexpensive Gallo Reference 3 speakers (something I lusted for greatly when they came out), got the wife to sign off on replacing the monitors in our living room, and hooked up my Sensation 451 (Sonicaps, bypass, 30v/130w PS).
Really excellent sound quality as a I had hoped, especially once I remembered to undo the high pass filter and send a full range signal.
But I'd like to reduce the noise floor a bit if that's easily done. So... anyone here move from the 30v/130w switching power supply to a regulated power supply like the Alstron LS-10A and find a reduction in speaker noise/hiss?
Thanks!
Dave
