I just got a Macmini to use as a transport in place of a very nice Bolder modded Squeezebox Touch and I was looking to get a USB converter to use with my current dac (Metrum Octave) while I save for a replacement USB DAC in a few months (the one I wrote about previously).

I saw 6moons gave the April Music Stello U3 an award and reviewed it with good results with my current DAC, but I'm wondering how it stacks up to the competition around its price?  The Jkenny 3 and Audiophilio2 come to mind.

I believe there was some comparisons at computer audiophile forum, but since they changed the forum format..lots of topics disappeared.
They were using the coax out.
