Sold on Audiogon

For sale is the highly regarded, classic and very well-reviewed
McCormack Digital Drive DAC-1 Deluxe Edition.
I had two of these, and last July 2011, I sold the DAC-1 basic version. I've been holding out on selling the Deluxe Edition, but now I'm ready to let it go.
This unit is in absolutely superb condition and performs flawlessly. I would give it a rating of 9/10, but only for age, as I can discern no visible flaws whatsoever on this component. Very musical and extremely well built, this DAC rivals many of the more modern offerings. Read a ton of reviews online, and you will not find a bad one among them. Additional upgrading, to the "Ultra" level, is available via Steve McCormack's SMc Audio.
Reason for the sale: For digital, I've gone to computer based audio and am otherwise satisfied with my CDPs... when I use them.
The shipping weight is 16lbs, and I
may still have the original box. I'll have to look in the basement. I
do have the manual. In any case, the DAC will be extremely well packed. I am an active and trustworthy AudioCircle Member. You can see my feedback at Audiogon as
bside123 or eBay as
bside123aolcom. I have a 100% rating in both places. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you.
