The Royal Danish-Australian connection

After announcing start of operations of AKSA Scandinavia at the beginning of this week, I would like to mention the "other" Danish-Australian connection (probably best known here in Denmark): The wedding this afternoon at 1600 hours in Copenhagen between Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Australian Mary Donaldson.

AKSA Scandinavia congratulates the Royal couple!

I suppose we will now have a new pretty face to grace our women’s magazines. We have run out of Diana photos and scandals.

Though I did not watch the wedding as such (had a couple of friends over for film viewing and music listening instead), it was all over the news here - unavoidable.

However, everything went according to plans, and Denmark now has a new Crown Princess - from Australia.

I saw something on TV tonight; I must say the honesty and measured grace with which the Prince and his Princess alike answered the media was very nice, quite refreshing. The speed with which she has picked up the language is impressive, too. I believe Mary will be an intelligent and diligent Princess; she impresses as being a hard worker, and someone mindful of the needs of Royalty and the society she serves.

Jens, should we do a laser cut logo with the Royal Couple in the background???

We wish her well (and the Prince too!).

Well, I think she will be a fine - and modern - Crown Princess. She most certainly is level-headed and intelligent.

Hm - laser cut logo, eh! Nah, I think we'll forgo that. In a few months all the hubbub about the wedding and all will be out of people's minds anyway.

She, the new princess is nice, strong and indeed intelligent and very very assertive....
Poor prince

She already gave a public warning to her future husband ( one day before marriage), if I may believe the Dutch papers.
