Hello,
I recently acquired an early version of an used BP26 and I was wondering if the BP26
is held back with his standard "audiophile" pot meter instead of a stepped attenuator?
I switched from a tubed preamp to BP26, the Left to right stage is much better,
but the BP26 removed some thickness in the midrange which is OK for male voices
which sound more natural now, but for female voices a little "golden" glow is removed.
Any opinions?
