The Conclusion (for those who skip critiques)
Just go see it, you will have a great time. You will even catch your pubescent and young teen kids smiling through out the entire movie although they would deny it later.
The Critique
This is Wes Anderson's best film yet. The Life Aquatic and The Darjeeling Limited were just practice runs compared to this movie. Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Francis McDormand, Tilda Swindon, Harvey Keitel, and Jason Schwartzman give seriously deadpan comedic performances that are note perfect. The two runaway kids steal the movie and light up the screen.
If you want to find about the plot go to IMDB but I'll say it is a joyful romp with a satisfying ending.
5 Stars because this film really is that good plus it is timeless and will appeal to everyone between 12 and 112.
