Just for the seller's information, it is no big deal to ship audio equipment to Canada. The cost for shipping by either UPS or Parcel Post is about the same and full insurance is available either way. We do this quite often.
UPS costs the client a bit more because there will be an additional customs brokerage fee charged by them.
If the item is US made, a statement saying the following should be shown on the invoice:
I certify that the goods referenced in this invoice comply with the origin requirements specified for these goods in the U.S. - Canada Free Trade Agreement, and that further processing or assembly in a third country has not occurred subsequent to processing or assembly in the U.S.A.
_____________________________ Owner, date.
This will save the buyer substantially on incoming duty. Duty on used US made equipment is probably even less.
We have no issues at all shipping either way to Canada. No loses or time delays either way.
It is safe to accept major credit cards from Canadian customers as address verification is provided to merchants. Pay Pal is pretty foolproof too. Of course only allow shipping to the same address as the billing address.

PS By the way, for any US made equipment coming to us from Canada, I advise the sender to mark on the package the statement, US Made Goods for repair and return and ship to us via Parcel Post.
This way the goods will show up at our door duty and hassle free.
