Has anyone else compared the the ncore against the Nuforce ref 18??  I have heard Ncore beat them in every way.  Was just wondering.  Class D amps technology is moving fast.

Where did you hear that from? I have heard some very good things about Ncore but I haven't heard of anyone comparing to Nuforce ref 18.

Wow... interesting. A good friend of mine heard some Ncore-based amplifiers at the Munich High End show and he was blown away with what he heard. And my friend has never been a fan of switching amplifiers and/or class d amps.

I look forward to hearing them.

I really like my nuforces and how they sound, but these have me interested in building one.  You can build your own for about 2k and if it sounds better than ref 18 or new 9k ref 20 all I can say is wow!

Hey, we don't mind people compare Ref 18 with whatever. But Audiocircle policy is that this kind of comparison should be taken outside of the manufacturer circle. The rationale is simple, high-end audiophiles have been comparing products for ages and there is always someone who stated something is better than something else. To avoid any sort of hidden agenda, it is our company's policy to never (since 2005) talk about the competition.
