I want to experiment with balanced ics for the first time. As this will be generally for a 5.1 HT set up i dont need anything fancy.  Does anyone have a budget set they would like to sell cheap.  Something like blue jeans, signal cable, monoprice etc.   Need at least a meter....

I've used these in my HT and they work well as utility cables around the house. It's nice to have the color codes too.

I have some Monoprice XLR cables that I find to be of excellent quality. Running from my main rig to the next room where my headphone amp resides. If you need long runs that are cheap, tough to beat Monoprice.
