Audio Magic Nano Liquid SUPER FUSE
Audio Magic has now taken fuse technology to a whole new level with the new SUPER FUSE.

Starting with a premium Little Fuse Audio Magic carefully drills a hole in the end cap and fills the fuse with a proprietary anti vibration compound that is mixed with Audio Magic's black out material, thus eliminating vibration of the element and absorbing any stray EMI and RFI.

Audio Magic then treats the entire fuse their Nano Stream Treatment which quite simply makes the end caps as well as the element become better conductors. Finally the outer glass is treated with Audio Magic's proprietary particle cover stock thus eliminating stray internal static discharges and providing the fuse with a layer of protection from unwanted high frequency garbage.

What this means to the end user is more shimmering detail, beautiful rich midrange, greater dynamics, a very natural presentation of the music and makes the SUPER FUSE to the best fuse to date.

Have not heard of this offering before--sounds like a lot of money for a modified Littelfuse.  Although they add materials and a process to the fuse, I would question the quality of the fuse element itself compared to the high-purity copper element offered by Furutech, for example.  It would seem more important to upgrade the fuse element as a conductor, and Furutech offers rhodium plating to their end caps--not sure that can be beat by a nano application.  I have replaced the HiFi Tuning Silver Supremes in my Maggies with the Furutechs-increased clarity, to my suprise, and the gold plating on the Supremes had fried right off.  But, the original HiFi Gold sounds better than the Furutech in my Wadia CDP AC line fuseholder.  Yes, a little 1-amp fuse alters the character of the sound--never would have believed it had I not experienced it.

The cost is high, the process looks different, or changes they make to the fuse. I just came across this and decided to show it and ask opinions.When I saw it I just could not believe it.

Yeah, it's an example of a high-priced, questionable mod of a low-priced item for a lot of profit--better to try a fuse that is fully engineered for its purpose, and even this is scoffed at by many.  I only tried them after others raved about them, especially in Maggies.  The improvements are not small.

I thought that Jerry's $50 fuse was the best fuse in my system, so I thought I would just buy one of the new Super Fuses to try. I rationalized that if I just bought one for my preamp it might make both my digital and analog sound better. All this for just a C note? What a bargain! Well, it was better, WAY better! Jerry Ramsey of Audio Magic has been in business for a long time and he makes a ton of innovative products, yet you never read anything other than glowing reviews. If your audio closet is like mine, full of carbon fiber cones, cable isolators and green paint for CD edges (remember cd's?) then why not give yourself one more chance to hit a home run. It sure scored in my system.
