CD Player Power Supply Upgrade

Has anyone attempted to upgrade the power supply in their CD player? If so, what did you do?

How would one proceed with upgrading a power supply in a CD player? I presume the goal would be to gain some sonic improvement by lowering the noise floor.

I don't see any advantage to tinkering with the power supply. Assuming the CD player is working properly, its inherent electrical noise should be lower than the -96 dB noise floor of the CD medium.

I have had tremendous improvements      http:  //    www   .musicdirect.com/p-7419-ps-audio-noise-harvester-in-black-ea.aspx      with this device, and on sale these are a bargain, this way you do not have to open up and expose oneself to dangerous voltages, and possibly damage your unit, this is a BIG IMPROVEMENT, and if you stake several, the improvement is that much more.  Try these,  and you will be amazed.

And along with the noise harvesters, these audio fuses REALLY REALLY changed the sound, I was a Skeptic, but after trying these in my Pre Amp and CD/SACD player I was floored  You might as well start at teh source, it all runs through the fuse, these are also on sale, great stuff.  Just make sure you try them in both directions, they do sound different depending on the polarity, I think it has to do with the atomic structure of the special element they use. TEH  fuses are incredible, I noticed much better depth and dynamic expression, on solo acoustic guitars, especially in C and G chord changes.  Try this along with noise harvesters, and you will think you just bought a new $5,000 player.  I have also stopped drinking lately, so I hear things with a clearer mind.   http:    //     www.     musicdirect.com/p-395-hifi-tuning-fuses-silverstar-large-slow.aspx
