D-Sonic M3 amps Are they the next big thing in Class D?

Been doing some research on the high powered Class D amps lately.  There certainly seems to be continued advancement in the last few years, to be sure.

For example, the latest amps from D-Sonic (M 3 Series) now all feature the Abeltec boards, which has generated some buzz on other audio websites.  Some folks think that they are a step up from Ncore in overall playback. Specifically, the upper midrange and treble as is reported to be the best Class D had  to offer.
Need to read up more on the technology, but it supposedly works on a phase principle as opposed to pulse width modulation (PWM).  Corresponded briefly with Dennis of  D-Sonic, and he seems to be very knowledgeable.

Maybe these are the Class D that will win some of us old curmudgeons over.    The prices seem very reasonable.   1375.00 built for 400W RMS a channel seems like a good deal (especially if it is as good or better than the Ncore or ICE).

So, anyone audition the latest Abeltec amps yet?

I bought a pair of the M3-600Ms and find them to be more enjoyable than the Ncores I owned.

I bought a pair of the M2-600M's last December. They are also the Abletec design and they do live up to their reputation. No regrets here what so ever. Dennis is on to something with his product line.

I've had those amps here, and while they are good ... better than any other Class-D stuff I've heard (haven't heard N-cores), they still just aren't in the same ballpark as my BMC or Clayton amps.  They do a lot of things right, you just give up the refinement and smooth lushness of the best solid state.

Or system synergy either. One size does not fit all. They are priced reasonably and worth a demo at least. Interested how they would compare to our Arion Class "D" hybrid mono blocks with Duelund CAST output caps. Cool stuff.

I posted a bit of a review here: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=117631.0

I like the M3.  Lately, it has faded from mind and I just listen to the system.  I am going to be trying some isolation devises soon and will also try the balanced connections early next year.

Dennis is fantastic to work with, I had his 1500 watt monos on my CLS9's and it was sonic heaven.

I'm really interested in the D-Sonic M3-600M amplifiers.  Does it have a 12V trigger switch?
