For Sale: Original owner Pair of Tekton Design 5.25" Monitors in Exc Condition.

Beautifully constructed speakers. Featuring hand-laid, furniture grade exotic figured mahogany veneer. The wood tone is a wonderful coffee color.

Used sparingly in a 2nd system.  Sound is engaging, full and detailed but never bright. Driven with quality tube and ss electronics.

Specs:
1) 5.25" Audax (French built) Aerogel drivers
2) 1" proprietary silk soft dome tweeters (high end manufacturer which Tekton Design can not disclose)
3) 13.875" tall X 6.25" wide X 8.625" deep - 12.5 lbs. each
4) 65Hz-20kHz response
5) 8 Ohm impedance - 88dB sensitivity
6) Single wire connection

After close inspection, there is no physical damage to the cabinets, drivers or grills. Tekton places 4 rubber feet/bumpers under each speaker so those are still in place.

Speakers will be packed in the original carton, shipped via Fedex Ground unless a different method is preferred.

How are these for near-field listening? 

I'm going to measure my computer desk when I get home and see if these would be possible.

Ideal for near-field.  I used them in a 10x10 bedroom about 2.5 feet from the back wall.  I was about 3-4 feet away. Never bright or offensive.
