Hi, I'm a complete newbie to tubes, so be gentle!  I'm still learning about SETs, tube rolling, etc.

I've done a lot of searching and I haven't found anything related to how the Jolida FX-10 and Zu Omen speakers sound together.  Do you have any thoughts on this match?

No specific experience, but I would imagine that would be a very nice combo. I used a MiniWatt with a Zu SuperFly and thought that pairing was excellent. Certainly shouldn't be any probs with the wattage of the amp with a speaker like the Zu (unless you want the absolute deepest bass or are playing at nuts volumes in a huge room).

And BTW, welcome to AC. Loads of very helpful folks around here. As well as some threads that will likely prove very helpful to your specific question. I recall there being a long Omen thread at one point that even discussed some potential mods that could be done to them.

No idea on that particular set up...but I do enjoy my Jolida FX-10.  It is a nice EL-84 push-pull amp. It has a bit of "crunch" in it which I like a lot...but mostly I listen to it with my movies in a second set up (I've gone to a 2A3 SET amp for music).  My Jolida has outlasted three other tube amps which all saw good time in the various systems but moved on.  I don't think you will be disappointed.  One thing I have been thinking about: tube rolling in some nice tubes...EL 84 x4 and 12AX7 x2....I suspect that would be a step up for sure, I just haven't settle on what yet!

Using a Niteshade Audio NS-40 p/p amp with Zu Omen Defs, quite a nice match. Power quad = Sovtek 6L6WXT+; pair of 6SN7GTAs as well re: voltage amplifier / phase splitter.

I've never heard the FX10 but I have heard and owned other Jolida amps.
When I owned Omens I drove them with a 2A3 SET amp @ 4 watts and it sounded very good. As long as you don't expect to play super loud you will be happy.
