Dxing is going for distant reception. You can optimize your tuner's performance and get a very good antenna with a rotor and pick up stations hundreds and occasionally thousands of miles away.  There's a website I believe dedicated to this. You may also want to ask at the Fm tuner group on Yahoo, plenty of very knowledgeable people there.

Don't forget a power signal booster for that antenna, a must for us Vermonters for both OTA TV and FM. Regards, Robin
