I came across this oddity and picked up a pristine LP for $4- Bruno Walter rehearsing with a Columbia house orchestra to perform Mozart Sym 36.  It was interesting to hear his interaction with the musicians, to understand what was going through his mind as he controlled spacing, tempo, dynamics.  Also, on the Columbia 6 eye, the performance and recording are very good.

Look for the Mahler #9 with Walter. There's a rehearsal disc with it, I believe. I had it on Lp and think the CD versions retained it, but not sure.
