Up for sale (again) are a brand new pair of Tekton Lore-S speakers in beautiful cherry. 
These speakers are a big upgrade from the model Lore.  The main difference between the S model and regular Lore is much more expensive drivers.  They have a smoother and more refined presentation compared to the Lores.  They are new in the Tekton lineup and my speakers are actually the ones on the website.  Retail is $1400 plus $250 for the veneer upgrade and $75 for the grills.  Total cost (excluding shipping) was $1725.   If you've done any research on Tekton, these speakers are amazing for the money.  Nothing comes close at this price range.  A pick up in the Chicago area would be great, but I would be willing to ship if the buyer was willing to pay for shipping.

What is the diff between the Lore and the Lore S ? the site has no info but I see diff drivers ..... knowing that might help justify the diff in price.

That's the difference...the drivers are a big upgrade.  More resolution and more nuance in the recording.

There is such a long wait on my new Lores I could have had yours weeks ago. my Lores are still not shipped and I paid for them many weeks ago.  Will be worth the wait I am sure though (as are your Lore S's).
