What do folks here think of Audiotools?

I was playing around with it and took the following RTA.  I was thinking of trying the RT60 plug in as well.

I've not played with it so can't really say.  In terms of RT60, that's not really a valid measurement for small space acoustics.  You can certainly try to extrapolate from it down to T20 or T30 pending your preference though.

Proper room measuring software offers much more resolution for low frequency response than 1/3 octave, and also shows ringing and early reflections. This software is free, and is highly recommended:

Ethan- they are not limited by 1/3.  You just have to purchase an inexpensive add-on for FFT I believe.  They also have ETC, etc and there is a new SMAART tools package that has a bunch of new stuff (which is too complicated for me I'm sure)

The nice thing here is you don't have to go out and purchase a mike, boom, outboard soundcard, computer, laptop, etc.  iPads are the new laptops for most people these days.

I saw Kevin Voecks was using this same software at CES for room setup, which I found interesting.

It wasn't clear from your post or the screen cap that this is an iPad app.

I certainly wouldn't trust that sort of built in mic to do any sort of accurate measurements, especially in the low end.

If you need serious measurement or want to use calibrated mic they have this interface. Though pricey it is a very powerful suite http://www.studiosixdigital.com/iaudiointerface2/.

Cool.  I'll probably dload the extra app and post up a graph for you guys to tell me how bad my room is (even though with treatment)
