Well I have to admit that these speakers exceeded my expectations both from a looks and sound perspective. When I walked into the shop to pick up my speakers there were several speakers there and immediately my eyes were drawn to those dark smokey speakers. I said to myself those are beautiful. And the very next thought was they were going home with me. The emotions that came over me were similar to those of where you are walking out of a place with the most gorgeous girl there and all eyes are on you. I was thinking yeah she is mine. And yes, she is sexy!! When we got them home and set them up I was just in awe again. Are you kidding me these are really mine, yeah buddy!!
At that point my wife proceeded to burst my bubble. She said your TV looks like s*** and so does rest of the furniture. Christ, I said what the hell am I supposed to do. She told me we needed to go out a buy a new TV. Well what the heck that is not so bad. So I spent the rest of Saturday and most of Sunday hunting down a new TV. Interesting enough we ended up at a furniture store looking for a TV. That is where it hit me I had been had. The TV was the bait the real prize was new furniture that I am going to end up buying. Well Jim I had no idea about the hidden cost of these speakers.
But I sincerely what to say that my expectations have been exceeded beyond my wildest dreams. The folks that built my speakers need to be thanked and congratulated again they truly make purchasing "Made in the USA" a gratifying experience for us. I also want to say again thank you to you and your wife, Mary, for making it a unique experience for my wife and I. I feel very fortunate to be part of the “Salk family”. I would also have to say that I did not take your recommendations about listening to your sample CD first off. Albert King wanted to play the "Blues" for me, I am sure you understand.
Sincerely:
Terry
