Sharing My Joy

Hello all,

I finally made the decision and oredered Van Alstine's T-DAC, which I auditioned a few weeks ago.  I will now have a full compliment of his components and for my ears and for what I consider a reasonable price, his equipment is quite good.  I never say better than or best because I don't want to start World War III, but thos that know Frank and his equipment will readily testify as to it's quality.  Even though I live in Van Alstine country, St. Paul, MN, I have no professional affiliations with him.  I simply find his equipment a great value and the quality of sound works for me.  Also, Frank is not the cranky old guy that some have claimed him to be.  I find him very personable and more than willing to talk for hours or until you understand his point of view.  Yes, he is opinionated, as we all are to some degree, but the bottom line is his stuff works, it gives great sound.  I'm sure there is better at a price, but for my old ears, I will stick to the plain black boxes that are built like tanks.  Good listening to all.

Rick
