DEAD CAN DANCE will be bringing their 'World Tour' to 15 Cities
throughout North America beginning 9th August 2012 at The Orpheum, Vancouver.
These will be the first live shows since their hugely successful sold
out tour in 2005, and Dead can Dance will visit 4 continents over an 8 month period in 2012 and 2013.
Dead Can Dance will be releasing a new Studio Album to accompany the
World Tour, which will be their first since 'Spiritchaser' in 1996.
"Myself and Lisa are genuinely excited to be working together again
in the studio. Writing began for the new album in the Autumn of 2011
and the final recording sessions will take place at Quivvy Studios in
Ireland in the early part of this year.
It will be a spring album to coincide with both natures reawakening
and the groups subsequent rebirth. Our tour plans are also well under
way and we have assembled a fine group of performers for the live
concerts who have kindly put their own careers on hold in order to
perform the music from our new album as well as some new arrangements
from the archives"
