CryoTweaks Reviews the Timpepiece 2.0

Pete,
No pictures yet - just now getting the new shop in order.  I know this ain't much to go on, but I will say that the finish is a common black, semi-gloss finish with a slight "leather-like" grain, seen on a lot of professional loudspeaker systems.  It's pretty rugged and can be touched up rather easily.  It's great if you tote your speakers around like a lot of engineers do.  You know the pro's - they only care about performance (for the most part anyway).  A guy like that would just ruin a nice finish so we figure why force him to waste the money on it.

brj,
Sensitivity is the same as before.  And you're correct - nothing in the bass has changed whatsoever.  We're just willing to take more of a chance.  I have a customer (and dear friend now), that uses a Cary integrated amp with 50W/Ch.  He's tried bigger amps and found little (no) improvement.  Now, he doesn't listen real loud so he doesn't really need the extra juice, so that's why 50Watts works for him.  That being the case, it probably will for many others as well.

In the past we didn't have much $$$ to be taking large risks on returns.  We're a little healthier now and figure the occasional return will be no big deal.  Best marketing bang for the buck as far as we can see.  And with the new tweeter, the risk of a return now is most likely a very rare event anyway.

Well, that's about it.  I'll try to answer more timely from now on.  Thanks for the questions and...

Take care, :D
