The New Audio Frontiers 845SE Special Edition is a single ended 845 based Intergrated Amplifier. The Special Edition version produces 25/watts channel using hand wound custom silver litz wire output transformers. It has five inputs switchable from the front panel and has a remote for volume control. This amp is hand built in Italy in EXTREMELY limited quantities. It is built like a tank (it weighs about 150 pounds shipped)!
It will come with all the original factory supplied tubes as well as a set of upgraded tubes including Shuguang 845B, NOS Sylvania JAN 5687 and 1948 vintage Long Black Plate RCA 12AX7's graded and supplied by Andy at Vintage Tube Services.
This is a wonderful sounding amp that does just about everything well. It has good bass, that luscious SET midrange and excellent high end. The extra power provided by the Special Edition output transformers is both quite noticable and REALLY nice to have.
