Legendary Clements RT-7 speakers:  $700 + shipping and handling  (Paypal (add 3%) or cash if local pickup).

Looking for quick sale.

Designed and manufactured by Phil Clements.

RT-7s have:
*  7-inch ribbons.
*  Transmission Line bass.
*  Simple filter/cross-over network:  Completely rebuilt to original design spec with high-grade audiophile parts from the Parts Connection and Vampire Wire by Vampire Wire field engineer ($400 worth of parts alone)... Great imaging and sound stage got even better!

Bi-wire/bi-amp configuration.

Efficient speaker:  20 to 40 wpc is enough power... the speakers can easily handle 200 wpc.  These speakers sound amazing with tubes, OTLs, Class D (or T) amps, and very clean solid state gear (think older Krell and PS Audio "class A" amps or amps like the Belles 150A).  The ribbons are very fast, so for the best sound, the amp does need to be fast and have excellent bass control.

Piano black on solid surfaces:  Pedestals (Each speaker sits in about a 4-inch stand or pedestal) and top "plate".  Recently updated with new black grill cloth -- completely surrounds speaker.  Pictures on request.

Sonically:  Better than original!
Cosmetic/finish:  Some scratches on the pedestals.  New fabric covers.

Approximately 75 lbs each.
No packing material.  I can custom build shipping crates (I would need to add wood cost into shipping costs).

Pick up around/north of Seattle, WA would be "best" delivery option.  I live north of Seattle -- close to the Canadian border.  I am willing to deliver/met as far south as Olympia, WA or north toward Canada... (Sumas is a good meeting spot).

These are amazing speakers.  I have enjoyed them in my system(s) for several years, but they just don't fit in my current living space.  As much as I don't want to, it is time for me to part with these speakers.

Thanks.
