Good for you Danny.

The CST-1 didn’t sound like a speaker; it sounded like the music passing through it. Perhaps, then, it sounded like nothing at all -- the highest compliment that can be paid a loudspeaker.

Therefore, it is with some humility that I inform you that the CST-1, at only 40% of the Mythos ST’s price, is in most respects the better speaker. In the midrange and treble departments, the Carnegie nailed it.

The Contemporary CST-1 is one of the finest loudspeakers I’ve ever heard. That it can be had for a paltry $1999/pair is a miracle. - Colin Smith.

So this is pretty much a N3 marked up 100% :dunno:? Or do the drivers just look the same and have different motors or something?

Danny has mentioned before they use custom made drivers.

The N3 is not a transmission line speaker, unless I've missed something.

My bad, that makes more sense then. I'm glad to see good press for Danny but I hate seeing B&M companies take an ID design, change it slightly, and charge double or triple. I recently saw a Van Schweikert speaker selling for 4k a pair that uses a $119 SEAS coax driver that's very similar to the Madisound Loki, for example.

The N3 is a transmission line design.  See Danny's description here: http://gr-research.com/n3.aspx

Thanks, I had forgotten that Danny used a transmission line design.
