I just did a search for Jean Michel Jarre on this forum and found no mention of him.  Well there is now.

I've got a buddy that was born in England that has been trying to find a cd by an artist he loved as a kid because he wanted to hear it on my system.

He finally found one locally and gave it to me as gift last night after we catered an all day crawfish boil together. He doesn't work for me, he's just a buddy of mine that loves to drink beer and eat crawfish. Anyway we're both smashed and we put on this guy JEAN MICHEL JARRE'S CD called OXYGENE.

Holly S*%T what a show on a nice system. It's greatness. I did recognize cut 4 from years ago.  This guy is just amazing. I'm listening to him on my office system right now and he's as good sober as he is drunk.  I'm now on a mission to procure everything he's ever done.

Hey Jeff,
Out of all his recording I've found "Oxygene" to be his best. Here's a link for his collection of works...

Jeff,

Actually, believe it or not I first heard of JMJ from his rendition of Popcorn.  Great twist on an old classic I played on trumpet.  I never thought to look up any of his other collections.  I'll have to try and dig up the Oxygene cd.  Thanks for the tip.

I have been a Jarre fan for about 20 years. His latest release is Metamorphosus. This album is different from everything he's done before, and its great! More of a techno style with really neat synth sounds. I hope he continues in this direction.
Other good albums that put his name on the map. Equinox,Magnetic Fields, Oxygen, Rendevous. I also have Revolutions, this album takes getting use to to appreciate, for the serious Jarre fan.
