A perfect candidate for a "swarm" system. There is also a 12.

• Advanced DSP management system with easy to read backlit LCD display and rotary encoder input

• Fully configurable two-band parametric equalizer for optimal flexibility and precise room matching (variables: Q, frequency, gain)

• Accurate and repeatable selection of crossover points in 1 Hz increments, phase correction in 45-degree increments, and EQ settings in 1 dB increments

• Remote EQ feature automatically selects Music or Movie EQ modes with external trigger from processor

But for an extra $100 ($599 during their holiday pricing) you can move up to the X-Ref 12 and get double the power/output and extend the reach from 30 Hz (OK for music) to 20 Hz (OK for movies too).   :thumb:

I think their July 4 sale is always a whopper. I might just bide my time and get a cluster.

New line of speakers. Very easy on the eyes. Premium crossover parts this time around.. I bet they're pretty nice.

 those look hot.

And they have monitors too, very nice, and those surrounds look good.

No details??

But yeah, ribbon tweets and active design!  Wonder if they use separate tweet/woof amps?

"All of our airmotiv monitors are fully bi-amplified, with a separate amp for both the woofer and high-frequency transducer."

Does anyone own one of these?  I have an AV123 MFW-15 that is far too big for my space, but I could likely make room for this guy.  Anyone ever heard both?

Rclark

Actually I've completely lost interest in these, I am now looking at the Epik Legend. I've been following a thread on AVS and the Empire has been compared as better than the MFW-15.

Twin sealed 15's or 12's, per enclosure, and you can get the 12's sold as a pair, for $899. That's 4 active 12" drivers! Powerful low end, punchy up top.

 Emo what?

Hah, I jacked my own thread.
