I recently bought a burn in disc called Ultra Burn In 3000. My equipment is realatively new, the last month or so, and I will soon be getting a new cd player. I am just wondering if there is any value in these products. Also, I was considering the Test disc which supposedly, through tones and input of some sort can test all of your components to ensure that they are functioning correctly and at maximum capacity. Now Keep in mind that I am very ignorant about electronics, considering just hooking up my system a major accomplishment. The reason I bring all of this up is that I too have a center image shift, but I do suspect a slight hearing loss in my right ear - causing the center image to shift slightly left and even move depending on what notes are being hit. I did a home test by placing my ear close to the external tweeder and heard noticably more sizzle through the left ear. Things just sound brighter through my left ear, a different sound, but not off far enough to be noted on a hearing test. Anyway, any help on these issues woudl be greatly appreciated.
