Have any of you elixer owners tried the new CDWG's ?
I'm wondering if they help improve focus and clarity to the same degree as with normal cabinets, having a flat baffle.

The Elixir benefits greatly from the Gen II CDWG.  A very worthwhile investment for owners of that very rare system (only 29 pair in existence).

Does the shape of the Elixir baffle give it better clarity and focus than a flat front speaker (without CDWG's on either)?

The cutaway baffle helps imaging with or without the CDWG's, but benefits from them greatly, more so that wider baffles.
