System Overview

This system has evolved over the years. I try to keep all components at very reasonable price points. With the exception of the Linn table, nothing currently cost over $1000 list price. I try constantly to push the limit of how good an affordable system can get!

Music Preferences

Almost anything that is interesting Rock - classic, prog, folk, alternative, (all manner of rock, except most forms of metal or arena rock) Country - mostly older traditional, bluegrass, a little of the new stuff Jazz - prog jazz, Coltrane, Rollins, big band, swing (including both original and modern swing) Classical - early, baroque, classical, romantic, some modern, some opera. Large scale orchestral and small scale chamber Easy Listening - gotta love Sinatra, Dean Martin, the Rat Pack, Luis Prima, Julie London and all the rest I do not collect, listen to, or otherwaise tolerate "audiophile records" by which I mean boring or just plain bad music that just happens to be really well recorded. I like well recorded music, but if i wouldn't listen to it if it wasn't well recorded, then I won't just because it is.
