LP Bin - While there are similar bins available, I wanted mine in Oak with a detachable upper section. Front/sides are Oak, while some inexpensive Aspen makes up the bottoms/rear panels. After staining, they were finished with three coats of satin poly. HD casters on the lower section allow for easy movement. Joinery is via Dado/glue with pocket hole screws, using my trusty Kreg Pocket Hole jig. Four 3/8” hardwood dowels in the top/sides of the lower bin keep the upper in position. The pocket holes are at the bottom and rear, hidden from front/side view. The bin currently holds a little over 300 of my single and double LP’s. I could jam more in but sorting through them would be difficult. I’ll add a battery operated touch light to the bottom of the upper bin for lower section illumination. Dimensions are 41” x 27.5” x 18”. The bins interior measures 26” x 16”.
