Whitesnake (1987) - Circa 1987. The last Whitesnake album featuring John Sykes before he went on to form and front the supergroup Blue Murder. John Sykes is one my all time favorite guitarists. He's got it all, great sound, great chops, great songwriting and can sing really well. The dude rocks. Love this album. David Coverdale is a great singer as well. Ansley Dunbar played drums on this record, also one of my faves.
