Thumbnail for The VW Golf GTI Morego 250 - This is a "Morego 250" converted VW Golf.
What is so special with a VW Golf with a miserly 250bhp?
Well... it'll embarass just about any supercar there IS at a track day meet.
That's what! Corners as crazy as a Ford Focus RS!
Chassis with a immense balance!!
Just add water... uh, I mean gasoline...
255bhp by 5600rpm... Pulls from tickover like an electromotor this engine.
Just about the best turbo setup I have ever seen, and it was in a Golf?!
It boggles the mind it does!! You hardly ever have to rev above 4000!!!
This particular setup of the 2.0L fourpot is a honey!
The secret here is a new wishbone design that maintains a 1.75 degree negative
chamber angle on the front wheels, and widens the track just a tad.
Now why did not VW do this themselves? That is a good question!
The brakes could do with an upgrade... EBC, Stop Tech or Wilwood or what have you.
They ain't up to spec they ain't!
And this is food for thought: When the chassis is ABLE to put the power down, you
obviously don't need more power!!! Chassis is the king! You get that right, you're set!

Nice stuff.
Safety and engine reliability is a must!
Basically, you NEED these seals, or eventually the engine is gonna fail!
And if you turbo charge, it will fail even sooner.
Why does not Mazda fix this in the first place? Weird!
Thumbnail for Mazda RX-8 - 490 bhp is a possibility with this svelte 79 CID engine!!!
Awesome! 486 Newton meters of twist also!
