I'm Feeling lucky
The Toy Room at night with the blue neons on.
This is my DIY surround system that I designed.
Sans grilles
My attempt to clone the Cain & Cain Abbys. These use only a single 4" driver and produce an amazing amount of bass. They also seem to sound very flat and have great imaging.
A 3/4 view. The baffles are 60" tall, 7" wide and 7" deep.
A slightly closer view of the drivers.
A view from the second row. The screen is DIY
You can barely see the rear surrounds hanging on the wall in the back.
A view from the second row and the side surround with grille
Side view with side surround sans grille
Infocus X1 and mount. Due to a low vent, this was my only mounting option.
Dayton 12" DVC sub in 3 cu. ft. cab 1.5" front baffle. The sub is tuned to 20 Hz.
Sub along with older 10" Sonotube sub.
My little Tang Band music sub hiding in the corner in a mess of wires.
The rear row couch is raised 6" higher than the front row to create a mini stadium seating effect.
My DIY coffee table/removable computing station
The middle door of the cabinet opens up to reveal a spot for my half dozen remotes and my computer keyboard.
Closeup of my center channel
I have 4 bass shakers on my love seat in the front row and an additional 4 on the couch in the second row.
Master Yoda on the Infocus.
