I'm Feeling lucky
It may not be clear, I've removed on the board on the left except for the power connector, and the LED diode. I've replaced the main cap with a sonicap. And Im attempting to connect RCA leads from the volume pot holes, but I've also tried connecting to the 1/8" jack holes as well. Neither are working.
From here you can see that I've had to add some rigidity to the speaker outputs by soldering a lead to where it connects to the chip amp. When I did that, it still works, so thats not the issue. The other lead that is jumpered is to bypass the Diode for power regulation. I do realize the solder is quite ugly, but I will go back and clean up if I can get this thing to work.
Amp on the left is how it stands now, except I've replaced the smaller of the two large caps.
Closeup of both boards. Again, the smaller of the large capacitors has been resoldered to the board. Still not producing sound.
