Edit: New pics half way down, shot Aug and Nov 2009. All Realtraps, Sistrum racks, etc installed. This.gallery is to highlight the March/April 2009 remodeling of the music room/home theater. The remodeling involved: * 8.5" riser built in back third (7.5' x 15.25') of room, to allow for second level of movie seating * sloped walls and ceiling painted flat black for reduction of ambient light during video viewing * walls painted Ralph Lauren Suede (textured) caminos grey color * new carpeting is black, small geometirc pattern, with silver striping * any existing white Realtraps (about 40% of inventory) being replaced by black The painting was completed April 13th and several black Realtraps were re-installed in the ceiling area (formerly occupied by white Realtrap products). The final work (carpeting) was completed April 16. 2009. 2 channel equipment was re-installed that night, and the remaining surround and video equipment will be re-installed over the next several days. new black Realtrap replacements will arrive in the next couple of weeks and be installed in corners (Corner Mondotraps) and ceiling wall junctures (2x2 Minitraps), and RFZ's will be installed on wall stands for previous side wall placement. Skyline type diffusors (or more absorbers) will be ordered for flat ceiling application, and artwork will be returned to the room asap.
