tubing coiled - Parts and pieces for DIY IC's
Tubing resiliency. Parts for IC's.
Tubes Coiled, Parts IC's.
tube radio projects - Just my collection of winter blues correction.
Victrola restoration and recones - More winter blues alignments
Hot Wired Tube System - Columbia power amp, Conrad Johnson preamp, Lafayette tuner, and an Oppo disc player.
Columbia vintage power amp - Check out the connections...galvanized nails on some junk sawed-off RCA's!!
Stereo - Just a system in constant flux.
Speaker Cabling 1 - One inch ID chemistry tubing, more one eighth inch ID chemistry tubing, 12 AGW solid copper wire, and Cat5e for the tweeter section.
Input Stuff! - Tascam M-32 tape machine, Conrad Johnson PV-7, and an Oppo DV980H. Plus a vintage reel to reel from Germany, U.S. zone manufactured just after WW II. An unknown, but fully functional vintage microphone for harmonica work.
The Rack. - Marantz PMD 320 CD player used with the Tascam M-32 for live/Cd work, Rane active crossover, Columbia tube power amp for the Altec Lancing M-14 HF drivers, and two Crown XLS 202's bi-amped left/right for the AL M-14 LF drivers. Furman power conditioner. All housed in a redesigned and refinished old college bookcase bottom cabinet. It has an air slot in front and below the Crowns so I may have the doors shut when listening to music or watching a movie. The cooling fans for all the amps are "toned down quiet"
Over the door sound absorbant Styrofoam DIY - Packaging materials recycled to absorb standing waves in the corners without detracting too much from the aesthetics of the room's decor. This is the prototype in the raw...it works ! I've noticed a small, but noticeable improvement for no $$$
