Thumbnail for Flexi-Table - This was a 3 week DIY project that my whole family helped out on, for which I am very greatful. Each shelf is made up of three layers of 1/2" MDF board. I followed the directions of the Flexi table made by Humble Homemade Hifi. The middle layer of MDF has two cut out's that are filled with about 6lbs of sand in each cutout making 12lbs of sand per shelf. I used 5/8th's threaded rod for the posts and acorn nuts for the top and the bottom of the posts. The stand is incredibly solid and I now have room.
